So, I decided to make this handy guide to help others as well.

So, today marks the one year anniversary of my daily drawing challenge! I can’t believe it is over, the time has really flown by.

I’d like to thank Marcus Hadlock for inspiring me to try this daily drawing challenge for myself. It has had far more positive affects on my drawing and creativity than I ever anticipated.

I’m not sure yet what I’ll be doing with the Morbid Holiday website or the update schedule. I know I want to do some longer format comics for sure. In the meantime, I’m going to take a much deserved break!

Some folks have suggested I compile a collection of some of the best drawings into a book, prints, and t-shirts, so I might look into that too for fun.

Thanks for viewing my drawings though, it’s been great to have your support!

I’ve never been a fan of the saying, “Let me put a bug in your ear.” I really can’t help but visualize something like the scene which unfolds above every time I hear it. Makes me shudder so!

I just got home from MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, and it was awesome! Not only did I talk to almost all the comics artists there (and there were a lot!) but I also purchased an inordinate amount of comics. Sweet! Plus, folks were really psyched to trade my mini-comics for theirs.  That was so much fun!

Almost every table was filled with really amazing (and different) work. I wanted to buy it all! Of course that is impossible, so I had to use various random and changing criteria as I roamed around.

Quite inspiring for sure though to see so many independent creators all in one spot. I’ve already been reading through the day’s haul and it should keep me busy for awhile.

Sometimes you run into moments in life where you’re just letting fear hold you back from making a decision that is otherwise sound. It’s time like that I like to reach for a can of F*CK-IT and get my life unstuck!
