For men dealing with their homophobic issues in our society, it would seem that context is everything. It’s OK for them to touch each other’s butts on the game field while congratulating themselves on a job well done, but watch out in any other non-sport setting.
I find these types of societal factors curious as well as humorous. I’ve never been particularly afraid of homosexuality and I’m comfortable with myself and with being straight. I have no great fear of other men or their casual physical contact. Respect my space and I’ll respect yours.
Good luck out there on game day fellas, wherever that may find you.
